Personalised support
- Volunteers work with CSSSM
- During the day, volunteers are available Monday to Friday
- At night and upon request, a volunteer can be present at a bedside in the palliative care unit “L’Essentiel” as well as anywhere in the hospital and in long-term care units
- It is possible for a volunteer to provide services at a patient’s home, upon request, in collaboration with CLSC staff
Bereavement support
L’Envolée offers group meetings at no cost to help adults express, better understand and resolve their grief.
These meetings are usually held twice a year, spring and autumn.

Relaxation activities
Zootherapy
A facilitator visits patients and families with various animals depending on their preferences.
Music
Once a week, a volunteer offers musical services (guitar-playing and songs) to patients and their loved ones upon request.
